Travel Journal Part 3: Paris!! Qui qui!!

DAY 8: After our flight back to London, a few hours of sleep we were then off to Paris on the Eurostar train that goes directly from London to Paris. We were greeted on our arrival by my sister and Cam, waiting with cameras and a bag of croissants :P mM.... Next it was a little treck to our hotel since we got lost, then it was off to look at the Notre Dame Cathedral and to the famous Lourve.. We went inside the entrance of the Lourve Musuem but not actually inside the musuem because Mum had already seen the Monalisa before and said it was tiny and a bit of a let down..so I didnt want to waste the remaining time we had.. instead we left to eat some French cuisine and look at the shops :D

[Reunion!] [For some reason Cam thought it was funny to take a pic of us all walking..maybe cos we're all short]

[Standing in front of some canal] [Mucking around outside the Notre Dame Cathedral]

[Inside the Hunchback of Notre Dames Hse] [First French restaraunt & 1st delicious Creme Brulee!]

[Bon Apetite!] [Love this pic..they didn't know i was taking it :P]

[At the end of the day waiting for the tube]

Travel Journal Part 2: Last day in Barcelona :(

DAY 7: We woke up early morning to climb the La Sangrada Familia, which is a very old church that Gaudi the famous architect designed hundreds of years ago. It's construction started while he was alive, however is stiLL yet to be finished. However, even though it's not finished, its work in progress is still an amazing sight to see.. After all that calorie burning stair climbing, we walked back into the city to have our last lunch at Tapa Tapa for some .. you guessed it, Tapas!! Then it was a long walk back to the apartment to pack up and make our way back to the airport.. good bye Spain *soB*

[La Sangrada Familia from afar] [Standing underneath the back.. or was it the front?]

[Many of the millions of narrow steps we had to climb - i found the same sort of pic on a post card in the gift shop.. i am such a good photographer haha] [Mum & Me at the top]

[Mum posing for me :P] [One of the monuments on the walk down]

[Being a tooL.. ok i admit that beer isnt even mine haha] [Mm tapas..]

Travel Journal Part 2: Still in Barcelona :)

DAY 6: Today consisted of a teeny bit of shopping on the way to La Ramblas.. which is a street that leads down to the Placa del Portal de la Pau - or in english the Port or it could be the tall man figure we climbed up.. i forget, anyway La Ramblas is filled with little stalls.. people doing acts for money and lots of coffee shops, eateries, breakdancers and one of the best food markets in Spain.. hehe or at least i think it is. After a long day, we decided to take a walk to the La Sangrada Familia as it wasn't very far from where we were staying to check the opening times were for the next morning for our last day in Barcelona.. :(

[Another interesting Gaudi building]

[Rare shot of Indran wanting to take a pic..apparently :P][Mum & I]

[Who loves beer? She does!][At lunch with our paella - ew it had rabbit and kangaroooo]

[Mr gold horseman who gave me a little gold star trinket!!] [Skeletons who wouldn't move/smile for the cam cos i didnt give any money ha ha]

[At one of the fruit stalls - why do i look so fat?] [Who wants meat or ch-ch-cheeeese...?]

[Seriously.. how can u not love Spain!!?!]

[With the breakdancers who seemed to be very popular.. is that 6 or 8??]

Travel Journal Part 2 - HOLA Spain!!!

DAY 5: After leaving London @ 4am, we reached Spain Barcelona.. Not to waste any time, we caught the bus from the airport into town, walked ALL the way to our apartment to unpack then off it was exploring. We walked around to find many of the weirdly spectacular Gaudi designed buildings & not to mention shopping at the 4 level MNG and Zara :)~~~ However after all that shopping, we did get to squeeze in a bus ride up to Montjuic hill where we could see how huge Barcelona was and how this new city had stolen my heart... hehe. On the way back down we went to see the Fira Barcelona which was beautiful at night, watching it change form and colours was just mesmerising - even though it was crowded I think it was my favourite spot in Spain, soo romantic.. we walked a long way to get there, that i was too tired to walk up the massive stair case behind it so me & Mum just sat and took photos.. Oh.. then we did got lost getting home on the bus & since no one could speak english to us we ended up in some dark, dingey suburb... which i did NOT want to take photos off incase someone came out and mugged us...

[On the steets of Barcelona a little walk from our apt] [Beautiful church that we went for a quik mass in - was full of old ppl & they stared at my mini skirt =\]

[A Gaudi building sprinkled with diff colour glitter, reminds me of a mermaid - one of my favourite!] [Uncle n Aunt waiting & falling asleep.. i didn't take that long shopping did I?!!]

[Vroooom..] [Mum & I]

[I had to walk through THAT!!!!] [Streets of Barcelona]

[Standing in front of some huge pool on Montjuic] [Outside Fira Barcelona]
