BANGER'S HERE WE COME!!!!!!

Sawadee kha!! For those who didn't know, my parents & I flew to Bangkok this weekend!! It was a last minute trip, only deciding to go on Friday night and confirming our hotel on the Saturday before hand. Which i 4get to mention that it was MEANT to b 4 stars (Yeh like in the 1970's!!) Overall it was a non-stop, jam-packed holiday which i must admit was soooo fun!! I'm really glad we went and now i can finally say i've been on holiday to another country that is not just Malaysia and Singapore. I actually really like Thailand, the place has still got so much culture yet still so fast-paced at the same time, despite the fact I couldnt read anything or understand n lost my bearing throughout the whole trip. Did i mention how CHEAP everything is over there & that shopping is AMAZING!!? However with only 2.5 days, suprisingly we didn't buy too much as there was WAYYY too many shops and places to go, 1 week would have been perfect. Thai ppl are nice however can also be quite rude when buying things & trying to bargain with them. Food wise there is alot of variety but we weren't game enough to try the food stalls on the side of the road in the dingey dark streets so left it to shopping complex and hotel restaurants. Elephants are highly respected animals to the Thai ppl, symbolising long life and luck due to their importance in the early days when elephants were used as a means of transport and way of life. Apparenrently in the East Province, every house keeps one as a pet!! I want one!! >_<

Here's what our trip included:
DAY 1 : Shopping @ tailors 4 Dad's suit, Pratunum Markets, Dinner @ Platinum shopping complex, back 2 hotel to rest and recharge for next day.
DAY 2 : Canal tour of the Chao Phraya River, Tour of Elephant & Crocodile Farm, Dinner @ MK Restaurant, Calypso (He-She) Concert
DAY 3 : Back to tailor's, Siam Paragon shopping complex, Siam Center, MBK shopping mall, back 2 hotel, Dinner @ Hotel Jap restaurant, wait for Dad's suit, Suan-Lum Night Markets, back 2 hotel to pack & get ready to leave
